Prologis has announced the development of a 100,000 square meter turnkey warehouse for Samada, the logistics subsidiary of French retail chain Monoprix. The facility will be built in Prologis’s Moissy 2 Les Chevrons business park and will be used for the storage and delivery of non-food goods sold in Monoprix’s retail outlets across France and on its website. The carbon-neutral development will feature a geothermal heating system, remote building control and full LED lighting.
Handover is due in 2021 and will mark a new milestone in Monoprix’s e-commerce strategy for non-food goods.
