According to a recent study, over one in five workers (25.3%) have telecommuted since the beginning of Covid-19 lockdown, compared to 3.1% in 2017. The vast majority of French people (76%) think that remote work should be more widespread in France. The first legal provisions on telecommuting were introduced over 15 years ago, but some grey areas remain. In practice, managers have to deal with a variety of situations, including employees wanting to work remotely on a daily basis.
