Franklin advises Altice on acquiring control over Numericable

The Altice group, the largest shareholder of Numericable Group, has announced the signing of an agreement with private equity funds Carlyle and Cinven for the acquisition of 10% of the capital of Numericable Group, which will enable Altice to raise its stake to 40% and take control over Numericable Group. This acquisition is subject, in particular, to clearance by the French antitrust authority.

Numericable Group began trading on NYSE Euronext Paris last November 8.

Franklin advises Altice on this deal, with a team led by Alexandre Marque and composed of Kai Völpel and Laurent Halimi (securities law) and Jérôme Michel (antitrust law).
