On December 22, 2015, the French Competition Authority authorized KOSC to acquire the copper DSL network of the French B2B telecommunications operator and Numericable-SFR subsidiary Completel. The sale was one of the commitments made by Altice and Numericable for the acquisition of SFR in 2014.
KOSC is a consortium composed of OVH, Europe’s leading web hosting service, Cofip, Kapix and Styx, holding companies owned by Yann de Prince and Boris Clausse, former founder and CEO of Mobius, a company that was sold to Altice-Numericable.
With this acquisition, KOSC is poised to become the third largest B2B telecom operator.
