Franklin advises Numericable-SFR on refinancing

Franklin advised Numericable-SFR on raising $5.2 billion in the largest single high-yield bond issuance. The deal attracted strong demand, prompting the group to considerably upsize its amount from the initially expected $2.25 billion. The telecoms operator used the proceeds to repay existing debt maturing in 2019 and drawings under its revolving credit facility.

Numericable-SFR was advised by Franklin, with partner Kai Völpel, associates Viktoriya Bukina, Paloma Champilou et Romain Picard handling corporate matters and partners Yann Colin and Jérôme Michel handling regulatory matters
