Appointment of six Of Counsels in Franklin’s Employment Law, Real Estate and Restructuring Departments

Franklin is pleased to announce the appointments of Pierre Dupuys, Vincent Martinet, Amélie Nisio, Mélanie Pereira, Silvia Rumanescu and Meggane Saunier as Of Counsel.

Pierre Dupuys, a member of the Paris Bar since 2018, has been appointed Of Counsel in the Restructuring department.

Pierre advises French and international clients, from start-ups to major groups, on crisis management and financial or operational restructuring, both in an amicable and judicial context. He is also able to act in more traditional M&A contexts. Pierre joined Franklin in January 2020.

Pierre is a graduate of the University of Caen Normandie (Master II in Business and Corporate Law – DJCE, 2015).

Vincent Martinet, a member of the Paris Bar since 2016, has been appointed Of Counsel in the Real Estate department.

Vincent works on complex real estate transactions (property development, acquisition, disposal and rental management of property portfolios), whether alongside investors or major users. Vincent joined Franklin in October 2020.

Vincent is a graduate of Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Master II Gestion du patrimoine privé et professionnel, 2013, Master I en Droit privé, 2012, and Master I en Droit des affaires, 2011), Cardiff University (Wales) in economics and international trade and the Ecole de Management de Normandie in management-finance (2009).

Amélie Nisio, a member of the Paris Bar since 2016, has been appointed Of Counsel in the Employment Law department.

Amélie advises French and foreign companies and their directors on all aspects of employment law. She advises on restructuring and business transfers, collective bargaining management, working time arrangements and employee savings schemes. She regularly provides support to the Corporate – M&A and Restructuring teams. Amélie joined Franklin in January 2020.

Amélie is a graduate of Université Paris XII Est Créteil (Master II Juriste d’Affaires, 2015) and Université Paris V Descartes (Master I Droit des affaires, 2014).

Mélanie Pereira, a lawyer since 2015, has been appointed Of Counsel in the Real Estate department.

Mélanie specialises in real estate law, with a particular focus on commercial leases. She advises and litigates on behalf of French and foreign clients, both investors and users. Since the 2022 edition, she has been ranked by Best Lawyers in the ‘Ones To Watch’ category in real estate and construction law. Mélanie joined Franklin in November 2022.

Mélanie is co-author of the Mémento Francis Lefebvre – Baux Commerciaux (2023) and is a graduate of Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Master II Droit Immobilier et de la Construction, 2012) and Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master I Droit Privé Général, 2011).

Silvia Rumanescu, a member of the Paris Bar since 2016 and of the Bucharest Bar since 2014, has been appointed Of Counsel in the Employment Law department.

Silvia advises foreign companies on the day-to-day management of individual and collective labour relations. She is also involved in collective redundancy projects, collective negotiations and the drafting of collective agreements. Silvia joined Franklin in January 2020.

Silvia is a graduate of the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master II Research in Employment Law, 2015, and Master I in European Business Law, 2014) and speaks English, French, Romanian and Spanish.

Meggane Saunier, a member of the Paris Bar since 2017, has been appointed Of Counsel in the Employment Law department.

Meggane advises and litigates on behalf of a long-standing client base. In this capacity, she advises French and foreign companies on a daily basis in all areas of employment law and social protection. In particular, she advises on restructuring operations involving redundancies and business transfers. She also assists her clients on a day-to-day basis with their HR management and industrial relations. Meggane joined Franklin in January 2020.

Meggane is a graduate of the University of Lorraine (Master II Droit du travail et de la Protection sociale, 2014, and Master I Droit du travail et de la Protection sociale, 2013). She is a member of the International Bar Association and the European Employment Lawyers Association.
