The pre-pack sale procedure was favoured due to the highly specific status of CIFEA-MKG as a cooperative (SCOP). Diffusion Plus Group and TAGG Informatique, respectively managed by Loïc Lefebvre (Executive Vice-President Diffusion Plus Group), Jonathan Laloum (Director of Development at Diffusion Plus Group) and Hervé Lesseur (CEO of TAGG Informatique) consequently tabled a full takeover of CIFEA-MKG assets so as to protect as many jobs as possible thanks to the close proximity of the TAGG Informatique production site.
In a ruling handed down on 8th September 2023, and just one month after CIFEA-MKG went into administration, Annecy Commercial Tribunal accepted the solid takeover project tabled by Diffusion Plus Group and TAGG Informatique. In addition to protecting the vast majority of jobs in the Haute Savoie basin, this project also aims to pool together three entities in the sector, all with shared values, around a market consolidation strategy.
The complementary nature and proximity of these three entities will allow the new entity NEW CIFEA to bounce back stronger.
