Franklin announces four of counsel promotions in its Litigation, Corporate and Tax Law practices.
Franklin is pleased to announce the promotion of Victor Cracan, Laura Isabelle Danet, Antoine Fouassier and Rudy Marouani to of counsel.
Victor Cracan, who was admitted to the bar in Paris in 2017, has been appointed as of counsel in Franklin’s Litigation practice.
Victor represents French and international private and public companies in complex business litigation before civil and commercial courts. He routinely advises clients on shareholder disputes, post-acquisition disputes, director and officer liability issues, as well as corporate litigation. He also handles white collar crime, real estate law and commercial arbitration matters. Victor joined the firm in October 2017. Victor earned graduate degrees from the University of Oxford (Magister Juris, 2015), the Paris Institute of Political Studies (Master’s degree in public affairs, 2015) and the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Magister – corporate jurist degree, 2014). He is fluent in French, English, Russian and Romanian. |

Laura Isabelle Danet, who was admitted to the bar in Paris in 2015, has been appointed as of counsel in Franklin’s Corporate – M&A and Private Equity practice group. She advises French and international clients, especially in the manufacturing, energy and technology sectors, on domestic and cross-border acquisitions and dispositions, investments, joint ventures and restructurings, as well as a wide range of other corporate law issues. Laura Isabelle joined the firm in October 2020.
Laura Isabelle earned graduate degrees from HEC Paris (2014), the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas (Master II in international tax law, 2014) and the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne (Master II in corporate transactions and international taxation, 2011, Master I in business law, 2010), as well as a BA in applied foreign languages from the University of Rouen (2009). |

Antoine Fouassier, who was admitted to the bar in Paris in 2014, has been appointed as of counsel in Franklin’s Corporate – M&A and Private Equity practice group. His practice focuses on advising French and international corporations on domestic and cross-border M&A, joint venture and strategic transactions. He also assists investment funds, entrepreneurs and management teams with the negotiation of private equity deals and routinely advises large family-run businesses on governance and liquidity issues. Antoine joined the firm in January 2020.

Rudy Marouani, who was admitted to the bar in Paris in 2016, has been appointed as of counsel in Franklin’s Tax practice. He routinely advises and represents clients across a broad range of corporate and personal tax law issues, in tax controversies and litigation. He is particularly adept at handling the transactional tax aspects of LBOs, M&A, real estate, project financing and refinancing transactions and more, as well as the taxation of executive compensation. Rudy joined the firm in October 2021.
